It’s the first time the original Iron Chefs Chinese, French, Italian and Japanese will gather together for a culinary show since the TV series ended in 1997. It could well be the last opportunity, therefore Event Producer from Tryber, Mr Jun Hasegawa, has joined forces with Event Director from Dining For Charity (Glamorazzi), Miss Roslyn Foo, to deliver an unforgettable dinner degustation, to demonstrate a closer friendship between Australia and Japan, while raising funds to help alleviate poverty in Asia. This exchange of culture and skills between Australia and Japan will extend into 2018 with the mission to bring notable Australian Chefs to Japan, an opportunity to profile Japanese cuisine, sake and tourism towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The legends will be supported by an equally exciting Iron Chef Advisors, Sommeliers, Baristas and Crew.
Opportunity International Australia provides small loans to families in developing countries to help them start a business, earn an income and leave poverty behind. By helping a mother buy a sewing machine to start a tailoring business or a father buy seeds to plant a vegetable garden, small loans enable them to transform their lives, their children’s futures and their communities. With 98% of loans recycled, the impact continues year after year.
